Heroinechic--my stars!! Your needlebook is so adorable!!  What a clever thing to do--embroiderr around a pattern (gorgeous fabric!!).

I am definitely going to have to wist that because I am tired of stepping on my needles because I lay them on the table for the cats to throw off!!

Bobolink--you now have a bird named after you....I am sure we will be wisting the "Bobolink Box" ha ha--you amaze me with your painting skills modus operandi!!  Gorgeous and so thoughtful!

Had to share the coin purse that I sent Girlygirl.

I quilted the fabrics then sewed it all up & added a silver follow your dreams charm & keroppi shrinky dink charm that I made with jump rings.

The charms are so cute!!  You did a wonderful job--the fabric is a favorite color combo--green and brown!

Isn't this a fun swap?!!

A Bobolink *is* a kind of bird you guys!! Cheesy

Oh man...i love the nesty necklace...that bird box is ~so~ nicely painted,  and the coin purse is really cute.

Homerof2 received my OTT but i think she didn't post yet because she didn't know what it was *laughing*.  I let her know that it's a drawstring pouch, but  I sent it flat (open/undrawn) because the bottom of it has card in it to keep a round shape, so it made sense to send it that way.  Homerof2 is into really different things from me, like scarecrows and sunflowers , and i usually make kind of odd things like voodoo pin dolls and japanese math games  Smiley It was fun and kind of challenging to have to come up with something i wouldn't usually think of - so i made her pouch in the shape of a sunflower with the middle being the bottom of the pouch.  I was happy coz i got to use tweed (i love tweed, don't you?) Hopefully she'll like it once the confusion wears off Tongue

Not only is a bobolink a bird, but it's a yellow and black bird!
Which is why I asked Modus if it was intentional.. but it was just a very happy accident  Cheesy
Those are now officially bobolinks painted on that box... at least according to me  Wink

I'm back from the beach, and had such a lovely surprise waiting for me! Here's the wonderful purse mirror that alwaysinmyroom sent me:

This is it closed. It's made out of some fabric from vintage kimonos, and the tassel you see is a fastener from a kimono. I love the colors and patterns of the fabric!

Here it is opened, where you can see the mirror:

Isn't it beautiful? Thanks so much, alwaysinmyroom, it really is a tiny treasure with all its attention to detail, and I love it!  Smiley

I received from gingerquilts today! It is a beautiful felted pouch with a kitty applique. Thank you so, so much! It's so beautiful and I've never received anything felted before... I absolutely love the feel of the pouch and the kitty is so incredibly adorable. My camera batteries just died, so I've asked her to post a pic if she can, otherwise I will get some batteries and do it tomorrow.

Thank you, gingerquilts! My little pouch is awesome Smiley
