I just got the most spectacular OTT from Modus Operandi. She really is SO talented!!
It is a gorgeous painted box, in beautiful shades of pink and brown, with gorgeous goldfinches on cherry blossoms painted on it. It is so gorgeous, and she packaged it so nicely too- she decorated and drew on the envelope and everything.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

i can't wait to see it, bobolink!  modus operandi is an amazing painter Smiley

and since heroinechic received from me (on the same day i received from her!) here's a pic of the nestlace i sent her:

it took FOREVER to decide what kind of chain to use but in the end i'm really happy with how it came out Smiley

i also received a super cute needlebook from heroinechic; it's made with this bright happy fabric that she embellished with some ridiculously perfect embroidery.  so, it'll hold my needles AND remind me to keep my stitches even  Grin  no pictures yet, but i think she has some to post Smiley  thank you, heroinechic!

Oh my stars, I LOVE the birdnest necklace. I have seen them on etsy and wanted one badly! That looks great! It looks wonderful on too.

Anyway, without further delay, Bobolink asked me to post pictures of the box I sent her. So, continuing with the birdie theme, hehehe...

And a closeup of detail

I like how it came out a lot. I did some post stalking and wist stalking...she said she loved this cherry blossom embroidered tote bag (its on craftster some place) in her wists and loves birds.
Oh, and I have no clue what kind of birds those are Jessica (basically made them up as I went), but you can think of them as bobolinks if you want Wink

I think I'm going to make some more boxes like this for my up and coming etsy shop???

Anywhoo, glad you love it Jess!

I was very pleased with how it turned out and I'm glad you love it.  I had to show as many people as I could before I sent it away lol.  I have a janome.  It's a pretty basic machine.
