Wow.  That is amazing sweets4ever!   Shocked You have some serious patience!  I am hitting "This Rocks"-- it's beautiful!

OH!!  Thank you!!  Smiley  I was kind of sad with it too, it didn't look quite like I envisioned, so you guys are cheerin' me up!

Shocked  Van Gogh!  Out of melted beads!  I have no words...

I think I'm in love with you, sweets  Cheesy

Laugh! That is too funny!

sweets4ever--who could get tired of those lovely creations!! You have taken plastic beads from the scourge of the bead world to a place of honor!!

Do you have safety tips?  Like, do you wear a mask?  I do not cook so I am afraid of the oven, but I would like to try this soon!!

I am sure there are much safer ways than how I do things, lol.  (at least I am honest, right?)
I don't wear a mask... but that's a good idea!

I used plain old oven mitts for fussing around with the shape & peeling it from the foil.  For this one, there was a funny crease (air bubbles made a trench!), so I peeled it from the foil, flipped it over & put it back in the oven.  I did that when it was all still hot & pliable, so gloves are definitely needed for that!! Smiley

Our microwave is mounted above the oven, so I turn it on "Turbo Fan" just for an added kick of ventilation.

The kitchen is an "open kitchen" so it opens into a living room.  I open both of the windows in there, day or night, just to keep an air flow going.

I won't let the dogs in the house when I'm baking and kitty gets put in the upper north wing of the house, as the kitchen is in the lower south wing (am I slightly paranoid, yes...)

Other than that... I guess I'm not really safe when it comes to crafting!  Do as I say, not as I do.  Smiley

What type of beads do you use?  Any old plastic beads?  That really is amazing.

Good old pony beads.  The really ugly ones.  LOL.  The sky is mostly faceted beads (the round ones with multi-sides), and then those little black ones (they wouldn't melt...grr!) are just miny ponies.

Ahh!!! That is so terribly COOL! I'm loving all of this bead melting stuff - I should go garage saleing and find some cheap beads and play... only when the boy is not home though... he'd kill me if the house smelled like that.

Be what you would seem to be - or, if you'd like it put more simply - never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise.

Shocked this is amazing!  Did you have any problems with the foil coming off on the melted beads?

Wow, simply stunning. Oh, the possibilities. I wish I had these beads. I can think of father's day possibilities.

Not at all (on this particular one), it peeled off in one big sheet (I'm reusing it now...hehe).

On the shade I did the other day, it was stuck in some spots & I used tweezers to start the peeling of it...then it peeled okay.  That was my fault though Sad 'cause I used my oven mitts to mold it around a round mold...so some of it flipped & flopped & caused a few harsh creases.  It couldn't be avoided to get the dome shape, but none the less, it was a little bit of a pain.

OH!!  Must you taunt me?  I think I'll try that over the weekend!

I have found that I'm hoarding pony beads, LOL!  I don't want to use them unless it's something I'm really excited about.  I saw a "barrel of beads" on Ebay once, I wish I could find that deal again!
