so yeah, i broke my computer, and was very bored for a long time. so i got off my arse and made this:

http://members.boards.ie/kaffrin/topwoo.jpg

it's very stretchy black jersey sewn with the rolled hem setting on my overlocker (serger if you must). it's really just a prototype, as i have grand plans for the design, and just wanted to see if it would look good on. it does, but i haven't managed to rope anyone into taking a pic of me in it yet, so you'll have to make do with milady (the dummy - and it wasn't me that named her).

apologies for the crappy quality, but my computer still isn't up, and my camera batteries died too, so i'm making do.

That's gorgeous!

It's a really flattering cut, very professional looking as well. Are you planning on selling this and the soon to come 'final' versions on ebay or such??

I would buy it, definitely.  Kiss

I would definitely buy something like that.  The pink stitching offers such a great contrast. Your work is very professional looking.

Beautiful!  Is it a dress or a two piece top and skirt?  I love the neckline, and the seams across the bodice especially.

i'm planning a range for my site. it's the one in my sig Smiley

Is it a dress or a two piece top and skirt?

it's a top, and the skirt underneath, i'm still working on. i just pinned it there to give an idea of a whole outfit.

I love it, accenting neutral colors with bright colors is such an awesome way to go.  I checked your site.  The fur hoody is really great.  Nice stuff.

I don't wear a lot of skirts or dresses, but that is something I'd wear every.  single.  day.  No kidding.  It's so pretty and flattering.  And no, there is nothing better than pink'n'black.
