I'm originally from NY but moved to PA for a better life for the kiddies.  I just recently started crafting (diaper cakes and such) and have my own diaper cake/basket business (online only at the moment, I hope to open a store in the future!!).  Anyone else from my neck of the woods?

Hi,
we moved out to pike county last year. My husband and i are working on making upcycled crafts. Hes working on artisan bottle lanterns and im working on recycled magazine reeded projects, like a picture frame out of 100% recycled materials.

We moved to the Poconos almost 20 years ago and live on the outskirts of Stroudsburg on our little 15 acre plot. We starting making and selling our jams 9 years ago and this eventually grew into creating salsas, bbq sauces, some condiments and a small line of soaps and lotions. From our first venture at a local flea market, we grew slowly and now do craft shows, have an internet store, wholesale customers, and provide event favors, corporate gifts and run fundraisers with small non-profit groups. Within the next year or so, we are hoping to quit our "real jobs" and follow our home business full time.

Also is the Poconos near Brodheadsville.  Brought a home here back in 2003 and finally move here full-time in 2013.
