Do it! It's such a quick knit. The shaping is very easy but looks great. I'm excited about this one.

Thanks guys! I have action shots on my blog now, as I also finished a bolero from stitch n bitch crochet, and was excited enough to go do a little happy dance on my patio.

It is absolutely gorgeous!  I loove it, and I can't wait to finish mine (once I figure out the weird increases!).

Craftykate - I can't see your pictures while I'm at work so I'll have to wait until I get home, but what kind of increases did you decide on?  I wish I loved mine more... Undecided

I ended up just doing the increases/ decreases the way they were written in the pattern. It stretches to the point of being too see through on the top anyway, so I figured a few little holes on the sides won't matter much since I'll have to add a lining of some sort or wear a camisole under it anyway. if I make another one I think I'd toy with that more so it could be worn alone.

Your straps look MUCH longer than mine, and I like the seems better on the side.  I think I might undo my straps and redo them.

I did more than the 48 rows or whatever the pattern said for the straps. I just kept going until they looked long enough. I also went down a needle size because I was afraid they'd be all stretchy and crazy. I wanted them a little sturdier. Last night I did one row of single crochet along each side of the straps to widen then just a little. If I wear a white bra you can see it through the top a little bit. (as you all can clearly see in the pictures of myself I posted on the internet. I have no shame) I tried it with a darker colored bra and it was fine, but harder to hide the dark bra straps under the light colored tank straps. I hope the extra width will fix that problem.

Ok...  I made the straps longer (good), put the increases/decreases on the side (good), it doesn't cover the cami as well as it did before (sad), it's not really any longer (sad), overall I'm still undecided.  I don't love it, but I think it may be wearable.  We'll just have to see.  It might be one of those things that I think I'll wear "someday" and then it just sits there in the closet mocking me!

And, I'm a complete idiot and CANNOT figure out how to post a pic.  I see the insert image button, but then it just sits there and says [img] - why can't computers just figure out what I want them to do, or at least tell me what to do!!!
