So I was on Craftster until about two in the morning last night (er, this morning), and I wanted to make something, so I made a quick hairclip out of a Build-A-Bear heart.
(Funny story about that heart...I was at the mall, wandering about, and I found it in front of the arcade. I picked it up, turned to my boyfriend, handed it to him, and said, "Now you have my heart!" Then he gave it back and said, "Nuh-uh, you have mine!" Now everyone go AWWWW~ Smiley)

Anywho, insert really bad picture of hairclip here~>

(Sorry if the camera's in the way...)

Now, I have a bunch more blank hairclips that I want to spruce up some. What would you more experienced Craftsters suggest?

Hard to see in the pic, but I like the idea.

As for making more hairclips, you could try silk flowers, seed beads strung in shapes, charms & other plastic trinkets, small ribbon bows, maybe small laminated photos?

Try searching craftster for barrettes or sth, you're likely to get a few ideas.

I've done a few hairclips with cheap but nice silk flowers, and cute little bottons too.  Your heart clip is pretty cute!
