SOOOO... I know this tute was originally posted a loooong time ago, but it's flippin AWESOME! If the girlie who made this is reading: YOU ARE A GENIUS, THANK YOU!! SUPER easy!

My BF works at a record store and sometimes brings me t-shirts... this one is super HOT (like steam-hot) black here in Houston... AND, I'm not sure if I wanna WEAR a huge smoke stack flipping folks off... sooooooooooo... I changed it to a handbag with a huge smoke stack flipping folks off. For those days I wake up on the wrong side of the bed. Smiley

I'm happy.

Thanks so much! I just saw a woman with the YakPak bag on the subway today and thought I could probably make it...but was looking for a tutorial since I don't have mad sewing skills. And--I love sewing things out of t-shirts!! I'll probably make on out of a tee and one of fabric...

I really like this bag, and even cooler it's made from a t-shirt! Ingenuity!
Thanks for the tute!... I'm running off to the thrift store to find a "worthy" old Tee to make a bag!

Thanks! BIG HUGS!

You are amazing! I have been wanting one just like this for a while. I've never heard of Yak Pak, but in Toronto, I keep seeing the American Apparel version, which sell for like 40 dollars. I am definitely going to try this. The tutorial seems really easy to understand also. Thanks for the tut!

This bag rocks!!

I made one for myself, slightly bigger and with an adjustable strap. I had a large T-shirt, but I had to go longways for the outside of the bag (basically the whole shirt) and it still wasn't really big enough, so mine isn't as gathered. I used the sleeves for the lining and another shirt for the edging.

I had a lot of trouble attaching the strap, it's pretty ugly there, I guess I just didn't get how to make it one continuous piece with the edging?
