This is so awesome! I love the yellow. I loved it so much actually, i tried it myself. I must say it doesn't nearly look as professional as yours but it's still awesome. I accidentally tore a little hole in the strap and another in the outside of the bag itself but now it just looks grunge. A totally cool way to reconstruct a shirt.

Thanks for this tut.  The bag is really cute, so I had to try it.

I made this out of a T-shirt I bought in Jamaica a couple of years ago.  When I got it home I realized the Embroidery on the front that I liked so much was way too scratchy to wear comfortably, so I never wore the shirt.  This was the perfect solution.

I added the other sleeve hem to the bottom hem to give the handles a little more length.  I had no problems following your directions, and enjoyed the project.

hopefully you can see this photo.

I have one of the bags you got your inspiration from (with unicorns and rainbows on it...it is awesome!)
But anyway, I really like the feel of the bag, so I will definitely be trying this for myself!

I just blogged about this--using the tutorial for inspiration on my current purse challenge.

I know this must sound like a dumb question, but you used a sewing machine, right?

Wonderful idea, by the way.
