Cute Scarf.  It could pass for being handwoven.  I Like the different colors.

Okay, so I made mine awhile ago, and I'm thinking it's a little to rough and scratchy. I used all cottons, except for the sequins, and i'm wondering if i wash it in *COLD* water, if it will be ok. Do you think that's a good idea? I just want to soften it up a little.

Yeah, mine is a little bit on the scratchy side aswell and I used all soft fabrics. Washing it couldn't hurt, but I'm thinking it's all due to the tension. If I ever knit another one I'm thinking I'll definitely use significantly larger needles to make it more open and loopy.

I've never found needles bigger than US 11... I'm going to search online to see if I can find some.  Yeah, mine is definately due to the tension, but the cottons are none-too-soft as well. They're very stiff. I'm going to soak it overnight in fabric softener/cold water, and let you know what happens.
