well when I went to the Simplicity website you can have the option of it showing prices in CAD......and there weren't any BbW patterns when I changed it to CAD.

I think the tunic/top pattern can be a hit or miss depending on the fabric and which view because of the button thingy at the front. I can't wait to see yours though! I just finished the hoodie a few minutes ago but will take some picture tomorrow (hope it's sunny!). I love it! I want to live in it, except I also want nice summer weather. Maybe I'll try it in a lighter fabric for a summer one........

Crafty_Witch15, I looked at your pictures (and commented!) and now I really regret not getting that pattern! I like it a lot more than I thought I would! I'll definitely be getting this pattern next time I got to Fabricville!

Does anyone know if BBW plans to do any more patterns for Simplicity? I've been keeping an eye out and haven't seen anything. I also did a google to see if anything came up, but no luck. Sometimes you guys have your own sources! It seems Simplicity is more enamored with the Project Runway stuff, so I wonder ...

I have to confess I have yet to sew any of the patterns I purchased.  And they are many.  Maybe we should get this sew-a-long up and running again.

Two new Built By Wendy patterns! I wondered if there were going to be more after her new book, and I was right. 2863 is a leetle '80s for my taste, although I like the shirt option. I like 2865. I know the new book is for knitwear (and I need to get it as that is something pretty new for me, and I do like the patterns with it too) but I hope she offers some regular woven patterns as well. I also hope we get a similar spread to the last set. These patterns are such a major part of my sewing wardrobe.
