I am using silicone sealant for doors and windows.I just use the Walmart brand, seems to work well, and it's cheap, like 2.30 for a tube? and you need a caulking gun.No grout.I painted the bowling ball with a cheap silver spray paint I had on hand, the others I painted with white spray paint.Any color will do,it shows through, some people don't even paint the bowling ball. The silicone is clear, and waterproof.First I squirt out a big glob, then spread it around with a plastic knife, that is sticky stuff and you don't want it on your hands.I do a section at a time, because it dries really fast, and I start on the top and work my way down to the finger holes. You might want to set it on something like a bowl or old towel so it doesn't roll away from you and land on your foot,or your dogs head!(It could happen...)

These are gorgeous! I know just where they could go and I have all the supplies except for the spheres to stick the glass beads on!  Cheesy

You are a bad influence.

A very very very bad influence.

Now to find softballs and whatnot at local thrift stores... I dont' get garage saling much - and now I wish I had that bowling bowl I got rid of before moving... Oh how nice.  I like these better than the gazing balls.  Very cool.

i am picturing me painting with some seriously bright colors before sticking the marbles on.. maybe the bright paint will show through all psychadelic swirls.. or flowers.. or suns... or stars....
perty....
Saturday is my birthday - I wonder if my husband would object if he took the kids to grandmas and I played with the garden decor..

If you aren't careful, you will have to join the Bowling Ball Addicts group.  I finally had to go cold turkey and just stop buying the balls.  They were hatching like rabbits all over my yard.  Grin Grin Grin

Hmmmmmm.... maybe... then I would have to start giving them away to friends... and to neighbors... and to relatives... who will all begin to hate me when they see me struggling up the front steps carrying large heavy boxes...

I love the ladybug too.  That is adorable!

This one covered with pennies if my husbands favorite. He asked me, "What happens if someone picks it up and runs off with it?"  I figured if they could run off with it, as heavy as it is, then they need it more than I do.. Grin
