Details of swap:
This swap is dedicated to the many crafty ways to use Perler beads (or any generic brand of this type of bead).  If you dont know what a Perler bead is http://www.perlerbeads.com/ is a really good place to start.  There are other brands of this type of bead, I personally dont know what they are called, but if you know a brand, please leave a message in the thread!
Basically this swap should be pretty easy, it would likely be a good first swap if you are a newbie.  You will make 3 medium items or 4 small items out of Perler beads (be creative, there are the multi colored, glow in the dark, and sun catcher beads) based on the info that your partner provides you.  And make sure its something your proud off and would like to recieve if you were in your partners shoes.
Also, if you have experience with Perler beads, please dont send something you have already made and no longer want.  Please make sure that the item is made for this swap, and based off your partners info!  No one wants hand me downs

oooh this is soo tempting, my new apt could use some rad perler goodies.
i don't have many on hand and i would like more colors, i got mine at a craft store that is closed now...do canadian walmarts have them?

I have heard that wal-marts have them.  though, I do not have any walmarts near me, so I dont know.  Most craft stores have them.

Try CVS?  I dont know if Canada has those though.  You can also get them cheap online too!

The more I think of it, I dont know much about Canada

American Wal-Marts have them, so I'd guess they have them at the Canadian ones.  Look at craft stores near the kids' crafts.

Well they are "fuse" beads.  But Perler and Hama are brands of fusable beads.

I'm excited.  I have these lying around my house I am going to turn out a bunch of them and then give everyone an ornament with their christmas prezzies!

Even though I'm buddhist they force me to participate in the present thing EVERY DAMN YEAR!

Although my hunny and I no longer celebrate other holidays instead we make up our own or celebrate Lotus day and give each other handwritten notes. Or I'll make him a craft and he makes me a mixed CD or does a chore for me.

That stuff is so much more thoughtful to me.

This is going to be an awfully small swap if people (looks at the Craftster community glaringly) dont sign up.    j/k

Its will be a really fun swap, I swear.  Perler beads are cheap and HIGHLY addicting.  And your options really are limitless.

See the pic of Milhouse under my name?  That's how I feel about swaps.  I am quite intimidated about it.  I always had bad experiences doing Secret Santa exchanges.  Then I read through the threads about people's bad experiences.  But... I guess I'll let this one be my first swap, because perler beads are so easy and require no special techniques.
