Free Standing Ferret Hammock

An online friend asked me if I would crochet her a hammock to hang from inside a cage.  Told her,  sure, if I can find a pattern and if not I could sew her one!! Well.........  since I dont have any ferrets I did a search on how the cloth ones looked.   About a week later, she called me.  I had discovered a hammock made from pvc.  We were online also so I sent her the link and told her..... omg  you could make one!  She said  no way.  Me  uh huh........  so  she ordered one from me   and hopes to order 3 more later.  This pic doesnt quite show the hammock like I want it to.   I used  flannel/t shirt fabric with quilt batting in berween for the cloth hammock and used binder rings.    Arent her ferrets cute??

That is so awesome!  Do you mind if I made one for my ferrets???  They would love that once we get our own place!

Very adoreable! Do you think if I made a larger version It could hold my cats? (I'd use larger dowels/rods of course)

as for cats.......  I think it would work using one inch  pvc  pipe

I have to get a job first so I have the monies but I will make one.  My ferrets are already spoiled, whats another hammock?  Though this one is way awesomer then the ones they already have.

I just meant they already have 3 hammocks, whats one more, sorry.  They don't have a free standing one though, its really awesome that you made one yourself, I've seen them online for like 15 bucks plus shipping.
