i went to venice beach with three of my girl friends and found a gorgeous big shell under my foot in the ocean.  so i decided to make a souvenier out of it.

i used wire and beads.  the beads on each wire person match the color of one of our bathing suits. i also wrote the date in a corner with a black felt tip marker and made a little stand for it
