I've been listening to podcasts lately and I'm so jealous of all the different yarns people have and such. I'm a little tired of shopping at chains, so I was wondering if there was a lys in the lehigh valley area? I'm only 15 so I can't drive somewhere however many miles away, so I thought I'd ask!

I'm just getting back into this, but if any pictures are missing, let me know. Photobucket hates me.

I dont know about "lys" but there's a little bead store in Coopersburg (Southern Lehigh area...don't know if this rings a bell) called My Father's Beads, and it's closing its pretty sizable yarn department soon, so there's lots of discounts. Check it out.

I've also been to My Father's Beads, (my grandmother knows the owner), and it's nice there. The lady in charge is friendly and willing to help you out.

Also, they have a knitting circle at the Southern Lehigh Public Library the first Saturday of every month from ten to noon. I haven't been yet, so I don't know what the age range is. I always seem to be busy....

Wow, I didn't know there were other people here from the Valley!!!  Awesome!  I've really liked getting yarn lately from A.C. Moore up past the Whitehall Mall.  It's across the street from Party City.  They have a HUGE selection.

I didn't realize My Father's Beads had branched into yarn.  I don't stop in there very often because I feel they're way overpriced.

Yeah, I usually get my yarn at A.C.Moore too. It's not bad, but I'm addicted to it, so I'm looking for more.  Wink
