Holy moly Jean! Those are incredible! I planned on a pretty damper evening scrounging through my craft closet to see what I wanted to do, and now I know!!!!!

It's SO easy too... and ya can make virtually any shape, size & colors you want... ahhh...the crafty possibilities.

That is just way too cool. I am doing the color craftalong and didn't have any ideas for next month, but now I just may have to try this one.

I was just letting my bowls cool, when I decided to surf Craftster. I opened this and now I feel bad for my poor little bowls!  Tongue

I guess I'll try again and try making ones as good as yours!

No way!  You better post 'em!  Smiley  Everyone's I have seen are so pretty...sparkly, transparent..colorful..yay!  My first bowl...eh... I didn't like it that much.  Sad  I feel better about the lampshade, maybe it redeemed my first attempt.

Run 'em under cold water...instant coolage!

I have a question:

Do you lay the beads flat and then when they melt set them on a bowl to get the shape?

Does the lampshade heat up if you leave the light on for a while?

I'm also wondering....when you take the tray out of the oven and it's on the foil, how do you place it on top of the mold without messing it up or burning your hands (i'm sure you use an oven mit but thought i'd ask.......)

My only concern would be the wattage of the lamp that you were using.  It would be terrible for such a beautiful work of art to melt...

So many things fail to interest us, simply because they don't find in us enough surfaces on which to live, and what we have to do then is to increase the number of planes in our mind, so that a much larger number of themes can find a place in it at the same time.
