HA!! I HAVE those EXACT lamps and they were like $8 at WALMART!! Awesome!! How fab!

I have a few of them... I know we got some at Wal-mart, but I feel like the others multipled like gremlins after midnight.

I apologise if this has already been asked/answered somewhere else in the thread already but have you had any problems with overheating? I want to attempt to make a hanging light shade for my bedroom but i'm not sure if this could be a problem?

Thanks so much, Clairee!  No problems with overheating at all.  I've made a few now and haven't had problems with any of them.  One of them is on a timer, but stays lit almost every evening.

Can't wait to see your hanging shade!  I haven't made any hanging ones yet.
