I love personal swaps! Just ask me about them! I have tons of fabric to trade for maybe other fabric..or knitted or crochet items!!!

It was phenomenal being in Dublin for that since Dublin's a fairly easy big city to negotiate on foot (also got to do the Joyce foot tour and was there for Bloomsday).

I agree, too, that it will be difficult to choose a book/author to have others focus on (I can never pick absolute favorites).  I suppose I might have to list a few.

Even though I had a grant to be there, I was too cheap for that.  I did a lot of reading up before I went and was kind of self guided.  I really love that city.  I had the fantasy I'd move there after undergrad, but it didn't happen and now Dublin is quite expensive.
