I borrowed the book Lovable Mini-Dolls from a co-worker, and used one of the people patterns to make my own twisted versions of the dolls.  Of course, the first thing that came to my mind was that I had to make a zombie:

This was followed closely by the idea that I also needed to make a ninja:

Both felt dolls stand about 3.5 inches high.

I love the bloody hands and chalked eyes of the zombie.  Great touch!

Wow! What a brilliant imagination you have, and patience! They must have been quite tricky to make?  I love the zombies expression and big hair!  and the ninja is soo cute.  I love felt! Shocked

I dabbed black eyeshadow directly onto the felt to make the eye smudges.  It's one of the effects I am proudest of (along with the bloodshot eye, which I love).

Thanks for the compliments, everyone.  These were actually not difficult to make, only time consuming, because they're so small.  Both figures are around 3.5 inches, so things like the hands (which are about .75 inches across) look like something other than blobs took some practice.  The zombie was the first one I made and went through 3 sets of hands before I was satisfied.  All in all, I would say he took about 6 hours of crafting time.  The ninja was much easier, 'cause he was all black, and only took about 2.

If you can ever find a copy of the book for a reasonable price, I would highly recommend it.

I have a bunch more ideas for dolls in my head, as soon as I have some free time.
