Now the wintertime is coming,
The windows are filled with frost.
I went to tell everybody,
But I could not get across.
Well, I wanna be your lover, baby,
I don't wanna be your boss.
Don't say I never warned you
When your train gets lost.

those are really awesome!!! my friend had a pair of "foot underwear" and i envied them with my split open poor feet Tongue
and now i shall rise above all the other poor feet in my group and be the supreme healthy foot! muahahahhaha Roll Eyes

just one question: does the felt slide when you're just on your toes? i'm afraid of, like, flying across a wooden floor and busting my arse.
yay!u like my foot paws!  Wink the felt is slippery enough to turn on, but i don't think you would fall. A good thing about foot paws or foot thongs is that they only cover the ball of your foot, unlike regular jazz or ballet shoes that could be a little slippery....ive had my share of falls w/ jazz shoes.... Undecided .have fun dancing!

I wonder, for more traction could you use some of those ugly rubbery-meshy placemats I'm suddenly seeing all over the place?  They look just like the mats you stick under throw rugs to keep them from skidding.  I think I might try that...

i'd try that shelf liner stuff- it comes in rolls and is real cheap, and pretty thin and flexible, but seems like it would provide good traction... might not be too wonderful for turns though

Those are great!  I'm definitely making myself a pair - and maybe my dancers too!  (I teach)  How do they hold up?  Felt does sound like it might be a bit slippery and wear out quickly - you could use some leather/ultrasuede instead.

thanks! i was thinking of making them out of a suede material or even a rubbery material, but it was kind of a spontaneous thing so i couldnt wait until i went to michaels....lol.i was also thinking, you could make them out of any kind strecthy fabric. colorful foot paws!what could be more fun?  Smiley
