oh, that's lovely!!  Did you paint the elephant, or is it toile?  Are those rhinestones around it?

Thanks!

no I didn't paint it  - it's toile - I found it in my bag of swatches from Smith and Noble and I knew licalee loves elephants - so she had to be made into a cuff for licalee! The little blue bits that looks like rhinestones are actually blue glass beads.

I'm so glad no one was home when I opened my package, as I was squealing like an idiot the whole time!  Thank you so much liebschien!!!!!!  I love them both so much!!!
She sent me two (!) cuffs, one with an embroidered squirrel, and one amazing beaded one!
The squirrel one is sooooooo cute, and just my style, and the workmanship on the beaded one is perfect!
I feel bad now that I only managed to send one, I'm in the process of moving and it's been a nightmare, but I did send liebschien a treat with her cuff that I hope she'll enjoy!

And my camera charger is of course at my boyfriend's, so I can't post pictures right away, but I promise cool action shots within the next couple of days!  If you have pics could you post them, liebschien???  Everyone should see these!

Astronogirl - I'm soooo glad they got there! Thank you for the nice words. They were lots of fun to make for you. I have a kind of crappy pic of the beaded one:

but I forgot to take pics of the squirrel one. I'd love to see some action shots so post 'em when you can.

Is the "K" initial embroidered?  Cos if it is, that's stinkin awesome!  It looks just like fabric.
