Oh! Do you have pictures?  Doesn't it seem like whenever someone sees one of these guys they say "Make me one!"

The eyes are safety eyes from Joann.  At the start I was just using a larger eye for their noses, or needlefelting one one, and then I finally found the safety noses!  I found them all in the aisle with the doll making supplies.

Let me look around online to see if I can find some sources for you, I'll let you know what I find!

I thought about making one with the same number of stitches and then a DK weight wool on like 7 and 8s instead of Worsted on 10.5 and 11.  I never thought about reducing the numbers though, it might be fun to try!
