This is a swap to celebrate that most glorious form of summer transport: the bicycle! While some of us certainly use them year-round, summer is most certainly Bike Season, and there is no better time to take long, lazy rides with friends. As the weather gets warm, we haul out our steely (or aluminum-y, or carbon-y) steeds for rides to the swimmin hole, the grocery store, or anywhere else we please! So let us appreciate the bicycle together, and get some sweet stuff from other aficionados in the process!

This swap is also open to those of us who love the sleek, utilitarian aesthetics of the bicycle but cannot orchoose not to ride. If you are one of these, let me know so that you do not receive streamers and spoke cards from your partner!

Swap name: Bike-Themed Swap!
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: Streifenhornchen
Sign-up date range: 10 June to 30 June
Date to send item by: 15 July

Limited to a certain number of people? (optional): Nope

Non-U.S. participants allowed? Sure!

All ages allowed? Or 18+? All ages

Organizer is aware of current list of "suspended traders"
list and will not allow those members to participate: YES

Organizer meets the 4 conditions for swapping and will make sure that every participant meets these conditions: YES

Details of swap:

You should send your partner goods for use while biking or with a bike motif. You can make something for a bike, something with a bike pattern, or something out of bike parts- anything bike-y! If you are crafting items to go on your partner's bike, make sure that he or she will have use for them!I don't want to give you guys strict guidelines for how many items to send, but think in terms of one big thing and two or three small things, or something equivalent. Overall it should be a package you would want to receive yourself- put in a good deal of care and make your new bike friend feel special!

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:
Name of swap
Craftster username
Email address
Your real name
Mailing address
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside of the US?

What kind of bike do you have (road, touring, etc)?:
Do you have a water bottle cage (so that people will know whether to make you things that go in or on it)?:
What t-shirt size are you?
Is there anything you would really love to receive?
Is there anything that you particularly dont want from your partner?
Anything else we should know about you?

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.
