I made these a few months ago out of a calendar of vintage ads from the 50s. One is an actual wallet, and the other 2 are just coin purses. I slipped 2 little pieces of magnet strip in them for a closure. I think they're pretty cute. The oddly shaped one is my favorite <3.


Wallet with a bus pass/ID holder on back.


This is the first one I made...that's why I left the picture of it's lining out. Heh  Undecided.

How fun! I wonder if there is a way to laminate the paper to make it stronger/water resistant though. Maybe if you  carefully covered the pieces you wanted to use with some clear packing tape before folding them?

Anyhow, great recycling idea and VERY cute!
