I just finished this blankie for my nephew, shown here with my Spherey from Jess Hutchinson's booklet (which I posted earlier in the week in that thread).

Spherey was knit with Paton's Be Mine in Wuzzy White and Cuddly Blue (nothing like super cute color names for baby yarn!)

Leftovers were paired with random acrylics from my stash and knit double stranded for the blue and triple stranded for the white on size 15s to make the blankie.  I borrowed the "f" design from Stitch n' Bitch Nation's Letter Have It.

Awesome!  What a wonderful baby gift.  It looks very cuddly and I have no doubt it will be a favorite blankie.  Spherey is super cute too..........
