I did this for a craft-along -  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=91746.msg948658#msg948658
Something useful and cute!
Tutorial:  Hopefully this will be enough info for you
Inside fabric 7 1/2 x 12 outside fabric 9 x 12

Fold each in half and sew right sides together.  Note on outside fabric I made some markings to leave room for string.  On the inside fabric you need to leave an opening at the bottom

Then put rightsides together and sew around the top.  This is a very tight fit on the sewing machine.

Then pull out and make it all right sides on the outside

Sew around the top after you have closed up the bottom of your inside fabric.

insert string and sincher thing and your done!

Hi Elby, I love this eyeglass pouch.  I am beginner at sewing.  This looks pretty simple to make, but can you do a tutorial for this?

Thanks Smiley

I love this idea.  What a great way to use up smaller pieces of material that are left over.  Looking forward to seeing how you made it!
