Very cute! They remind me of those Johnson shorts that everyone is buying. Well done!

Ok so here is the tut sry if its a little confusing. So first measure around ur hips, from ur hip to the lenth where u want ur shorts to be, and also the inside of ur thigh to the lenth u wanted. So for example, Hips- 34 inches
                                            Lenth- 10 inches
                                            Inseam- 6 inches

Then you cut out your pieces-
you will need two front, 2 back, and 2 waistband pieces
                          plus a zipper, buttons ect...

The two front pieces should look like this

it is pretty much a square with a curve cut out of it. measure a 11 by 10 square then about 6 inches up, cut the curve about 3 inches in. the top will end up at 8 inches, 1/4 of your hip measurment.

do the same thing for the back pieces but make it a little wider just in case, around 14 instead of 11

now the waist band, cut 2 pieces that one that is 4 by 16 and one that is 4 by 19

one of them is a little bigger because then you will be able to button them

Now ready to start sewing!!
ok take one front piece and one back piece and sew the long sides together

do this to both front and back pieces

then on the back, sew that ---->

side above the curve to the other side above the curve, but dont sew the curves together yet (sry i dont have a pic of this)

then sew the zipper to the two front pieces the same way you did the back, again dont sew the curves together

so now the curves, sew the front curve to the back curve on the right leg, same with the left leg. there should kind of be an X where all the seams meet
inside

outside

So then just attact the waist band, trying to match up the side seams and hem the bottom and attact any buttons or trims that you want

And your done

I hope this helps and please ask me if you have any questions. Also, sry if there are a done of type-o's I cant spell haha
