Yay! New clay board!

So here's an introductory post, a clay covered cuff bracelet blank. The covering is a mix of my canes and those of some friends. The bracelet has been sanded, buffed and I managed to make it just a shade too big for me! But I have a ton more blanks ahead Smiley

cheers!

The thing I found with polymer clay is that, while it can be extremely simple or extremely complex, there's a pretty sharp learning curve for the more complex stuff - how to take this very easy material and make it into something amazing.   I'm used to, when I start learning a new process, maybe it doesn't look all that great right off the bat, but at least you can tell what it's supposed to be -- with PC I got SO frustrated, because people would demo something for me and it would seem so simple but in practice it was a lot harder than it looked, and the result was usually "a blah ball of WTF!"  All I can say is, have patience and practice a lot!
