I eat the purses!
Did you use a pile of flesh for the scooter or did you just free-hand?
If you fre-handed, I am not sure i could so do you know of any good sites I could get patterns?

About designs... I would try some stencil designs, they tend to be really simple!

I made my first vinyl handbag today. I didn't have any trouble with the foot slipping at all!

You can also get a walker foot for your machiene.  They come in genric so they fit on most.  I used to make costumes for theme parks, and this was a life saver.  You can use it on almost any fabric. (not to good on sheers)

Do all of you line your vinyl bags with like a plain cotton fabric, or do you leave it unlined???

Lia:

I lined my bag with black satin. I also used interfacing (fused to the satin). Additionally, I used a very stiff batting (almost like felt) that is used in brain protector making. I don't know the name. It was a pricey 9.95 per yard though. Yikes. Even buckram is cheaper!

How do you attach the design(scooter)? Is it just another piece of vinyl stuck on the purse?
