If you are anything like me then you lose your needle no less than 100 times per stitching session. It's been a source of constant frustration for me in the past. Last week I discovered a wonderful little creation called a needle minder:

 It sits on your fabric and looks adorable, and also holds your needle when you aren't using it! I'm sure many of you hardcore needle-craft...

I did my first beaded altoid tin for the Altoid Tin swap over the summer, and I liked it so much, I had to do another one. This time, I used an 'altoids smalls" tin. It's about half the size of a regular Altoids Tin.

 I have always wanted to dye my own floss but have been very leery about the whole process. I just knew that I would end up with a tied dyed mess and my counters and house would be stained with a vomit pea green. I finally decided to put aside my fears and go for it. After a couple of tries, I got the hang of it and now I want to dye everything in sight.
