Here is how I frame all my embroideries:

1.On the right side of the fabric, mark the finished size and framing with pins.



2.Cut a piece of cardboard the size of your frame.



3.Glue padding to the cardboard; here I use some polar fleece. Trim to just slightly larger than the frame.

This is the first pattern that I designed myself!  I'm so proud!  I simply downloaded sprites, enlarged them, and added a grid.  It was so easy!

Sorry the pic's not so great.  My camera was acting up, then the stitches got distorted when I resized the image.
