so, adding to the "condoms/nursing pads/tampons/underwear" discussions - what can i do with empty birth control compacts?
see, even though i keep telling my pharmacy that i HAVE a compact, they keep giving me  new ones.  i've got 4 and i'll be getting my refill tomorrow, so i'll be getting another one.

the obvious thing to do with them would be to decorate them and continue to use them as pill packs (i'm one of those people obsessed with catholic imagery, so putting virgin marys on birth control packs is really appealing to me right now - in a very politically incorrect kind of way)

does anyone have any other suggestions for them.  just going for the obvious seems like such a cop-out.

They're already compact-shaped...add a mirror! I've seen small, round craft mirrors for cheap.  On the bottom, where the pills come out, put down some neat-looking fabric (or, if you're an overachiever, homemade lipgloss).

i have the round ones. well, roundish. they're actually shaped rather like toilet seats  Cheesy

i forgot to mention that the "calendar/dial" part inside is rather big. i'm not sure i can remove it without destroying the compact.  i thought about trying to use that part and do a perpetual calendar, but since it's birth control, it only has 28 spaces  Undecided

Yes, I get the toilet seat shaped ones too, although mine look more like this: http://www.canada-pharmacy.com/birth-control.html and mine are cheap packaging from Planned Parenthood like this : okay well the case i use is so old that there are no pictures of it on the internet.  As long as you cover that bottom hole you could redecorate it and use it as a travel pill box or you could decorate them as christmas oranaments or decorate them like easter eggs, cause they're oval-ish anyway...
