I'm a newbie to this great forum. I can't believe I didn't find this sooner!

Anywho, here's my first completed hat.

And even if you don't add tassles, the corners of the rectangle look like cat ears.

That's cool you're from Wichita! I'm attending OU in Norman so it's not as bad as the rest of Oklahoma heh.

That is fabulous -- I want to make a bright red one with orange tassels.  I love how easy it is -- I can't knit much, but I can do rectangles!  Smiley
