Just use the search button up top.  I typed in checkbook and there were a bunch of threads about it.

Cheers!

I just made one a few weeks ago and got it up on my website today. Here's a link to the finished product (it's at the bottom of the page):

And here are the instructions:

http://www.geocities.com/annareillyart/wallet_howto.html

BUT a disclaimer: I've been exceeding my bandwidth lately so I can't guarantee that pooey old GeoCities will let you see my pics. I'm currently looking for another site but hopefully these will load for you.

I made the collages and then covered them with clear contact paper. I am not too impressed with the contact paper... For one thing, it has kind of milky look - the images look muted beneath it. Also, I used glitter on the collages and the contact paper doesn't adhere well with the different textures. It also puckered when I folded my wallet because it doesn't give enough. I usually "laminate" stuff with clear packing tape and I like that MUCH better. I *really* want a laminator of my own (have to "borrow" the one at work) and if I ever make another one of these I'll either really laminate it or use the packing tape. I do not recommend the contact paper.

Anyway - Good luck!!
