I sent in my sign-up! I'm just going with one partner, one patch, and no extras, for now.

MommyTheMaid! I still have patches you sent me a LONG time ago, waiting for me to gather enough additional patches for a finished item. You also sent me mug rugs, and I'm using one of them as a patch, too!

Great work, guys!

My girlfriends came over last night for sewing night and I had a friend teach me her way of binding quilts. She used a blind stitch and I couldn't figure out how to do it, but I got it now!

WOO! I finally GOT somewhere on my tricky project. Maybe the curse is over with? Here is my lesson: if I think of the way to do it first off I should do THAT and not do it the lazy way. *sigh*

What kind of serger do you have?
Tried another kind of thread?
Tried it on another kind of fabric?
No rolled hem button/ lever you might have pushed unknowingly?

I know you said you threaded it correctly, but did you threaded it in the correct order?
Sergers sometimes really can be a pain in the ****

It is funny, this swap is usually overrun with yarnies begging for more sewists!

I haven't started putting my pieces together, but it's all fitting together in my head! I hope it ends up working in reality. I'm so excited for when people start receiving and we get to ooh and ahh in the gallery!
