OMG I love this. Im such a harry potter dork that this is right up my alley. I wonder...I dont have an ipad but I have a sony reader. I could make a case for my sony reader maybe. I just need some fuzzy stuff.

Thanks very much. I think you could definitely adapt it to a sony reader.

What pattern did you use, or did you do your own? These look way nicer than a lot of similar versions I've seen.

I love this because it is so unlike every other iPad cover I've seen...thanks for thinking outside the box and helping me to do so, too!

Thank you. I looked at a lot of covers and decided I wanted something all my own. I appreciate the compliment.

Great Job!... I am thinking now of making a cover for my net-book..it should be interesting to see people's reaction when I walk into my local coffee shop with a Monster Book of Monsters under my arm...lol Cool! I love it!

If you make one, please post a picture. I'd love to see it!
8  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Steampunk eyeballs! on: December 20, 2010 09:08:12 AM
Heresy I never made magnets but I assume it's the same as those, little clear glass gems, alochol inks on foil, painted the black onto the glass (I tried paper, doesn't look as nice), this is polymer clay remember =) no glue.... liquid polyclay.

Thank you for the explanation. I wasn't sure if the eyes themselves done after the baking.

I think these came out really nice. Like everyone else I am curious how you did the eyes?

Was it the same glass marbles everyone uses for marble magnets, with tinfoil, and some sort of paint, with a bit of black paper, all glued to the back?
