I saw an idea to make a case from someone else... why I didn;t think of this I don't know...  I just changed the way I close it.  I can't find a case to buy that I like so I made one that is oh so perfect for my needs.

3  COOKING / Dessert / A dice cake on: March 07, 2008 06:06:55 AM
So there is no food section so I suppose I will post this here.
I made this cake for my bunco party.  It is my first attempt at a cake.   I was told later the cake won't fall apart when frosting if you freeze it.
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Lightning My Heart Clutch on: February 15, 2008 09:48:58 AM

I made this clutch for one of my youth at church who just turned 18.  She is girly but not... if that makes sense.  Anyways I was trying to make something she'd have multiple purposes for.  I figure this was good for a clutch or a carryall in her backpack or bigger purse.  Lots of stuff.  So yeah. And, yes she liked it.
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Bracelet/Cuff from favorite hoodie scrap on: January 04, 2008 03:01:12 PM
I have a girl from our youth group whose family moved half way across the country this past summer.  I decided to make her a little something to let her know I was thinking of her this Christmas.  So I made a couple of little things including this cuff.  It's got a snap closure.  It is made from a scrap of my favorite hoodie, which she knows.  Just something from one of her favorite youth advisors.
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Pencil clutch on: January 04, 2008 02:58:48 PM
I have a girl from our youth group whose family moved half way across the country this past summer.  I decided to make her a little something to let her know I was thinking of her this Christmas.  So I made a couple of little things including this little pencil bag which can be a little clutch too.  I threw in some pencils as well.
Her name starts with a G, so yes it is monogrammed.

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / 3 musketeers for my friends on: December 21, 2007 08:02:37 AM
I wanted something the same but different for my friends for Christmas so I created bags.  All three of us have one in our favorite color.  they are numbered in order of our age.

That's a bottle of musk on the left and a tear on the right... hence... the 3 musketeers... I know, it's cheesy, but no one else will have them.

9  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / A dress for my niece on: November 23, 2007 06:55:52 AM
Ok, this dress is for my niece... it 's on a doll to show it off but all the access fabric is in the back.   It is an empire waist (you can see the stitch several inches below the dolls chest.  Ha.  Oh well.  She is a very girly girl.  It is a surprise so I had to base it on some of her clothes and not the actual child.  It is the first attempt at clothes for her so I really hope it fits.
