1  My first lined zipper pouch! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by CraftyVeganCMP on: March 29, 2009 07:57:07 PM
Hi everyone.

Beginner sewer here, please be kind.  Grin

A bunch of firsts for me!  First time: using my new sewing machine, using a zipper foot (still not sure if i used it right though!!) , making a pouch, and using a zipper.

I used the tute found here: http://www.skiptomylou.org/2009/01/14/how-to-make-a-lined-zipper-pouch-tutorial/

Made this for my 13 year old niece in England, for Easter.  She's a little gothy but girly at the same time.  Found this skull fabric at Joann that I love myself, And used a bubble gum pink fat quarter for the liner and a 6 inch zipper.  I've never met her so I hope she likes it.

Here is the front:

The back:

The inside and it's Bubble Gum pinkness:

I'm really please with how it came out, I can see mistakes (like with the corners), but I still like it.

Comments and Criticism welcome.

Thanks for looking!
