This was a fun, easy and quick little project. I like to have lots of handmade kid's gifts on hand for last minute giving. I think it was the perfect use for this fabric.

I made this little hanging pillow for my new baby niece. The kitty is an old Vogart pattern and the pillow is a log cabin square made from scraps.

I stitched up these little onesies last night. The patterns in the book are perfect size.

They were a great addition to the gift basket!

I made this quilt for my sister by combining my favorite fabrics by Heather Bailey and Amy Butler.

I slashed 12 inch squares into six pieces and mixed them all up and stitched them into new blocks. it has cotton batting and is hand quilted.

This was a fun and easy afternoon quilt to make.


I just rotary cut different width horizontal strips from 4 cooridinating fabrics, pieced on the machine, added cotton batting and a cow print backing. I machine quilted and also added the binding by machine.

I am making two of these quilts for twin 7 year old girls. Here is the first finished one:

The vintage embroidery patterns are from patternbee.com, the horse fabric is called Stablemates from Alexander Henry. This is a lap size quilt.

It all started with a giant bouncy ball, plaster fabric stuff, newspaper, glue, cheap yarn and gobs of hot glue

Then I worked up some yarn hair.

We're not sure if the hair will make it for Halloween night, it kind of bugs her a little. The ball is surprisingly light and pretty flexible considering the plaster. I wish I had some daytime photos of it in action but these will have to do!

This is what happened while i supposed to be cleaning my craft room. First I found this embroidered square leftover from an old project and then I started sorting scraps and ..............
A 30 minute pillow that is far from perfect but pretty cute nonetheless.
