11  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: Your Ideal Tea-Towel? on: March 24, 2007 06:44:27 AM
The towel has arrived safely (and beautifully stitched!) in CT. I have most of my embroidery done and will be sending it out by Monday. I have to tell you that this is my dream tea towel, I love everything about it.

Aww thanks everyone. This was very easy to do and it was dumb luck that it fit 8 basic crayons perfectly (It's around 8 1/2" x 11"). It can be adjusted to hold taller pencils and markers too.
I found that ribbon at Michael's.
I made this one for my little nephew:

I save my scraps until they are almost nothing....... you never know when you'll need a 1"x2" pink polkadot piece of fabric  Grin

This was a fun, easy and quick little project. I like to have lots of handmade kid's gifts on hand for last minute giving. I think it was the perfect use for this fabric.

I made this little hanging pillow for my new baby niece. The kitty is an old Vogart pattern and the pillow is a log cabin square made from scraps.
