42  Vintage embroidered clothespin bag in Needlework: Completed Projects by ilovepaper on: March 27, 2006 04:24:21 AM
I couldn't wait to make this!
I won a huge lot of vintage Workbasket transfers on Ebay and this was part of it. The stripe fabric is a cotton dishtowel. It is so kitschy cute that I almost can't stand it.

Now it just has to get warm enough to hang clothes on the line!

Let's get some springtime embroidery going here! Stitch some baby chicks and bunnies, flowers, spring showers, June brides, green grass... you get the idea... and post them here.
I'll start by posting what I did a few weeks ago and posted in the completed section:

This was my first sample, I'm hoping to make a bunch for Easter gifts for my wee family members.

I found this free pattern on this crafty blog:

Maybe he'll photograph better when he has a friend later on today.

I just finished this little guy out of wool felt. My daughter named him Billy:

He is from this great Japanese book that I picked up on Ebay:

I don't know how to read japanese but the pattern was pretty easy to follow.

Now I need to finish his baby sister Lilly......
