Hey, so this is the very first quilt i've ever made! I made it in my clothing class. It's made from flannel so it's really warm. I think it turned out pretty good.


It just fits the top of my double bed, and it's Pooh Bear! Hahah

Hey! So I haven't posted anything in what seems like forever, but with school and everything i've been too busy. Buuttt, this year I took a clothing class and made this little guy! I made him a few months ago but didn't have enough time to post, so i'm doing it now, hahah. He's still nameless, so if you have any suggestions feel free!


He was made from a Simplicity pattern I found at my house, i'd give you the number but I left it at school. :S If I ever get it back i'll post it up, sorry!

Hey guys, my sewing machine is being a bum. Everytime I use it, on the opposite side of the fabric a bunch of knots are formed. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have a "job" that includes taking care of my brothers teachers dog for an hour on specific days, (It's supposed to be half an hour, but I like to spend extra time with the puppy since I just started this "job" and the puppy doesn't know me very well.) and I get payed 5 dollars for each day I take care of him, and I get payed at the end of each week. So this week, I was supposed to take care of him for 3 days, but only ended up taking care of him for 2 days because on the first day I had him, he got sick and the other day was when my brothers teacher took him to the vet, so I couldn't take care of him on that day. So at the end of the week I was supposed to get payed only 10 dollars, but instead she gave me 20 dollars for the day that I missed and for the other day that I came in and she told me what to do with the puppy. I felt sorta bad for this, so I decided to make something for the puppy. I thaught about makeing him a toy, but i'm not sure if I should because if he tears the toy apart, he could eat the stuffing and choke, and I don't want that to happen at all! So I would like to know if making a toy for the puppy is a good or bad idea. Or if anyone has any good dog toy patterns. Thanks!

Ok, so here's the story. So i'm making a plush toy of Kirby, sort of making the pattern up along the way. (Oh, and before I go any further, here's a pic of Kirby: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/1a/Kirbysqsq.png) And so far I have the arms and body sewed, it's made of pink fleece and it turned out good, surprizingly! Anyways, Now i'm stuck on two things: How do I make the feet and sew it onto the body, and how am I going to make his face? (I was thinking of cutting it out of felt and sewing it on, but I already have it turned, stuffed and sewed closed. So then I thaught of hot glueing the felt pieces on but then it might not turn out semetrical. ) But my biggest problem is how am I going to sew the feet and tack it onto the body? Hi! Does anyone have a penguin pattern? I have been searching the web but cannot find one. The free Linux penguin pattern won't co-operate with my computer and the moon stitches owl pattern is more or less for owls (They are really cute, just more... Owly). And the friend i'm crafting this for didn't like my owl I made from that pattern... I thaught it was cute, anyways, I need a pattern fairly soon because I have alot of crafting to do, lots of presents to make. Thanks!

Does anyone have a doll pattern? I wanna make the character in my dp and I also have to make a Sasuke doll for my friend for Christmas. I'm not a novelty sewer, so does anyone have fairly easy doll patterns? Thanks.
