You're so brave and crafty! Good work and keep your chin up. I'm going through something similar and it's hard but ya gotta keep on moving.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I've worn it everyday since I unpinned it from the blocking board!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Ishbel on: September 17, 2009 08:23:44 PM

Needles: US 6
Yarn: 1 hank of Handmaiden Seasilk in Marine
Size: "M" (small St section and large lace section)

Ishbel (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Michele1620/ishbel) is my first triangular lace shawl. It was a pretty easy pattern to follow and very enjoyable return to knitting for me (after my 4 month hiatus). I think that I will revisit this pattern again in the near future!

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Bebe Hat on: June 17, 2009 04:41:00 AM
My bff is half way through her first pregnancy and just found out that she's having a boy. So I had to make him a little blue hat! I used Bernat Cot'n Corn in Water. My first project with this yarn and it's a bit splitty to work with but creates a nice soft fabric.
I used the Umbilical Hat from the original Stitch N Bitch book...it's a pattern that I will use over and over because I freakin' love it.

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My April Lady Sweater on: May 12, 2009 04:41:08 AM
Yup, another February Lady Sweater. This was a very easy pattern to follow and a fun knit. I used 100purewool.com Worsted Merino Single (comparable to Malabrigo!) in Blue V. I <3 this colorway!

I decided to do buttonholes & buttons all the way down instead of just 3 or 4 at the yoke. And I found the MOST fitting buttons for this sweater!

Here's a close up of them on the sweater.
