1  Re: Matchbox Swap round 5 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by t33ng1rlsqu4d on: May 05, 2011 06:46:00 PM
Ready for more pictures of another awesome box?

This is the box gozer made for me. The outside of the box is so cute and itty bitty! The thought of making a squirrel that tiny blows my mind. Look at his cute little paws!

Tons of awesome stuff was packed inside.

Two kitty charms
Two butterfly charms
Two owl charms
A really pretty silver magnetic jewelry closure
A key charm
A couple of pin backs
Three cute little bumblebee buttons
A little wooden tree shape
Lots of itty bitty star beads.
Four woodland animal stickers, as well as another on the inside of the box.

I forgot to take a picture of it, but gozer's box was packaged in a little green tin with a cute little tree card and one of those neat fortune teller fish. I had never seen one of these fish before, but I haven't stopped playing with it since it arrived! I'm so easily amused.

Such a cute box, gozer! Thanks so much for making this a great swap.  Cheesy

I received both of my matchboxes from StarFire and gozer this week and HOLY CANNOLI!! These girls hit the nail on the head as far as my taste is concerned. I'm feeling pretty spoiled.  Cheesy

I haven't taken pictures of gozer's box yet, but I'll share StarFire's now and finish up with gozer's tomorrow. Prepare to be jealous, folks.

StarFire's matchbox was wrapped in a box with a cute tag and a large amount of this pretty ribbon. This isn't the best picture of it, but it works.

Inside was my matchbox and a tube of sparkly flower-shaped glitter. I forgot to take a picture of the glitter.  Tongue
The matchbox is seriously adorable, though. I'm in love with these little owls! See for yourself...

Here's a picture of everything stuffed inside!

And finally, here's all of my goodies laid out. (Notice the matchbox's cute interior!)

There's a cute little sock monkey brad (How did you know I love sock monkeys?),
a snake brad (or maybe he's a bookworm, hence the glasses. Either way, he's cute.),
a turtle charm,
a deer charm,
a toadstool bead,
a sparkly green heart bead,
a nest charm,
two wishbone charms,
a magnet with a picture of a birdy and a few mushrooms on it (already on my fridge),
adorable owl earrings (already in my ears),
paper leaves,
four pretty blue beads,
two sparkly paper owls,
three sparkly paper trees (this paper is gorgeous! Like Edward Cullen in the sunlight! Wink ),
and ten pieces of miniature paper artwork, all lovely!

Here are some close-ups for good measure.

I am floored with how fantastic my boxes are. I hope mine measure up!  Undecided

Thanks for a wonderful swap, StarFire! I can't wait for you and gozer to get your boxes!

I've received all of my bracelets! When the lighting is better I can post a few more pictures, but for now.. this is the best one I could get. Let me know if I mix up any of your bracelets...  Undecided

The first is from hbrady99. This picture doesn't do it very much justice, but it's fantastic! It says TEAM JACOB, which is definitely the correct team.  Cheesy

The second bracelet is from swampolympics. The colors in this bracelet are fantastic. It's definitely very me!

Bracelet number three is from twonderland. This wonderful bracelet is the first one I received and there are a few more pictures of it on my previous posts.

The next bracelet is from ckchan. I really love the pattern and the colors in this one.

Bracelets five and six are from zigg13pra. Both of them are lovely! I would really like to know how you made the smaller one, by the way.  Smiley

The seventh bracelet is from Pink_Pamplemousse. This is a really gorgeous bracelet. The colors are beautiful and I love the beads.

Bracelet eight is from ENGRbyDAY. This is such a cool pattern! There are a few more pictures of it on a previous post, as well.

Thanks so much to all of my partners!

Again, I may have mixed some of those up. I forgot which bracelet came out of which envelope! So just let me know if I need to edit that.  Tongue

I received from ENGRbyDAY yesterday and boy, was I excited!

She sent me a fantastic bracelet.
It hasn't left my wrist!

Here it is with the other fantastic bracelet I received from twonderland, as well as a charm bracelet I'm in the process of finishing.
I think they look really nice together.

I got my bracelets sent today and just finished a fun photoshoot of my dog, my bracelets, and my backyard. I'll be posting pictures in the gallery in a minute, but for now...

Here's a teaser for Groups C and F!

Not all of the bracelets pictured were sent out. I just threw some of them in there to confuse you.  Cheesy

I can't wait for y'all to receive!

My camera has been acting up lately, but I wanted to post a few pictures of the bracelet I received from twonderland.

It's twonderful! (haha, see what I did there?)

It's a lovely blue and purple hemp bracelet with a cute little star bead. I promise I'll post some more pictures of it later when I get the rest of my bracelets.

Maybe next time I'll have the good sense to take pictures before the sun goes down.

Artificial lighting is such a drag.

Thanks again, twonderland!

 Cheesy

It fits well, by the way. I'm just too much of a moron to take a decent picture of my own wrist.

I'm so jealous of all of you organized craftsters.

I'm in the middle of planning a makeover for my craft room, so it's a disaster.

This is what my current project looks like...

Lovely, isn't it?  Tongue

I got my package today!!!

Just to warn you, this post will have WAY too many pictures.

JFKLSDFJSDKLJSDKL!!!!

I definitely got spoiled.
I love everything, Brooke!

I actually managed to take a picture before tearing into it.

Peanut was curious.  Cheesy

Here's a picture of everything  Shocked

First of all, lots of souvenirs!

Immediately after opening this, my brother and I tried the hard candies.
They are incredibly delicious.
I may have to make a run to Canada to get some more!  Cheesy

These are the Canada souvenirs.

A keychain with wolves. At least I'm pretty sure those are wolves....

A cool pin.

A cute canada bracelet. I'm wearing it while I type this. :]

Next was the Eclipse box.

The inside had my favorite picture of Jacob from the Japanese Twilight, and lots of quotes from my favorite chapters of Eclipse.

Inside the box was more awesome stuff!

Jacob buttons.

and a really cute coaster, which is great because I always drink upstairs and get my desk wet.  Tongue

Next were some bandanas for my dogs. My family loved everything, but these were an especially big hit!

Some puppy stickers!

A Team Jacob shirt... normally I'm really skeptical about getting shirts in swaps, but this is adorable! I really love the color and the flaming words. jsdkfja;skd!!! I'm also wearing it right now.

...Last, but definitely not least, is my very own Jacob doll! This is pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen.
His little ears, and his little tail, and his little fangs, and his little jeans, etc.. I could go on and on! He'll definitely be sleeping in my bed tonight.

Thanks so much, Brooke!
You really outdid yourself, and I can only hope that you liked my package half as much as I love yours.

This was a great swap!

Cheesy

i'm not exactly a frequent psoter on this board, but i lurk endlessly.
i figured it was about time i get up and participate.

i started my own journal just this afternoon and this is my first page as of now.

it still feels like it needs more, but i'm not sure what.
it's obviously inspired by many of the wonderful pages i've seen on this board.

i hope you'll welcome me into your journaling family!

10  Just Bears. Oh my! in Stenciling: Completed Projects by t33ng1rlsqu4d on: December 30, 2008 12:10:53 AM
so, i bought a plain red t-shirt with the intention of making a christmas shirt.

that never happened, so i searched for something to stencil that i would be proud to wear year round.

http://www.typetees.com/product/1501/Real_bear_hugs_are_often_fatal

inspired by the above link, (copied, really...)

i made this.

 Cheesy

it's my second time using the freezer paper method, and cutting it out was a pain.

but i think it was worth it.

i'm going to have a hard time not wearing this every day.
