Hi Kittykill,

Ooh, lovely!
Good thing you provided a picture of the garment. Iwould not have known what it looked like otherwise.
I would wear something like that. Thanks for the inspiration.

Gallstones, if you love fashion you definitely will love this too. http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/0a4aaea97a9a00f06bb7acb602055c434g.jpg You can wear tube inside instead of blouse. I never tried to embroider on soft & thin material before. Hopefully one day. I'm still practicing.  Wink

What do you think?

Thanks
Melissa

This is a good piece of work. I wish I could embroider something like this one day. I'm not so keen doing hand embroidery but I'll try mch embroidery. You can frame your work.

That's so cute & funny too. Grin I'd never thought of stitching anything like that. I hope one day I can come out with something like that.

Thank you for your comments. In fact I made a Malay traditional dress (baju kurung) for Aidil Fitri celebration. In case you don't how a baju kurung looks like, you can check here.

This is the hand of the the dress.

Thanx for looking. Smiley

It doesn't look like a sunflower to me but I managed to finish the embroidery. Actually the material looks dull & so I decided to decorate it with embroidery.

oh man, i love these SOOOO much! are they real bugs?  i took a zoology class where we had to catch and kill and make a display of bugs... so it wouldn't be hard to catch your own species for free!  is that just an epoxy that it's set in?  great job, these are really REALLY awesome!

I was abt to ask the same question. Looks real to me but really pity the poor insects. But the insect pendant necklaces look cool. Just that I hope it's not the real insects.

I can't help noticing. It doesn't look attractive at 1st glance but after a 2nd good look, I love its simplicity. Well done. I love the concept - Reduce, Reuse & Recycle!!!

Yeah this is simply gorgeous. The last time I did hand embroidery when I was in early teens. That's quite a very long time. You can frame your works & hang it in your living room. Maybe you can decorate your embroidery with colourful/shining beads.
