My grandma let me go through her stash, most of it was old acrylic but tucked down in was a small ball of 100% angora. Sooo soft, but it was really hairy and broke easy. So I made some booties for a young mama with a new baby (cousin's boyfriend's sister kinda thing lol)

I made him for the magic yarn ball swap. He's all a single strand except for his buttons. I wish I could have got a clear pic, I was so proud of him. It was my first time doing something so detailed.

It almost feels like I cheated Cheesy

$2 yard wal-mart cotton woven cut into 2 rectangles and some elastic for the waist. I messed up a little on the measurements and it's a bit too long but hey lol I think I'm going to make a shorter one and see how it looks.

I made these a while back, the brown one almost a year ago. But I thought I'd share anyways  Grin

This is the one I made for myself (well, for my little one lol) I like the wide wrap style straps because they're comfy and don't slip around. The front panel is some fabric I picked up at the thrift store that I fell in love with and the straps were made extra long so my dh could use it too.

A sweet friend sent me some pretty wool yarn as a gift. I wanted to make something for myself so I decided to try out this pattern http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=202060.0 which is awesome by the way.

Ssshh I hope my slipper swap partner doesn't see this lol. But I was so happy with the way they turned out I couldn't wait to post. I drew up the clouds myself, if anyone's interested I'll post the design Smiley The slippers are sewn out of wool blend felt in a dark navy blue but they came out a bit bright in the pics.

Both of them. The cloud design is really on the outside of each foot but the way I have them set up makes it look otherwise Roll Eyes I didn't think of that until it was to late.

I did a trade with another mom who's little boy loves cars/anything transportation. So I used Micheal Miller's In Transit for the panels.

This was my first time dying non-wool yarn. I was surprised at how easy it was although I was worried at first. The yarn lost it's sheen and looked all matted when it was wet, but as soon as it dried it looked fine again.

Here's some Pure Wool I dyed up for a custom, but the person flaked so I made myself a hat with it. Not colors I would have chosen, but it looks pretty all skeined up I think. I named it Robin's Nest
