1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / stains on my tshirt...im the biggest flirt!! on: January 07, 2006 10:20:24 PM
ok so the stains are actually on my pants, but the song just fit so well!!

they're solows --> dark blue stretchy pants, athletic/dance pants, that fold over at the waist

The lovely michigan weather brought lots of snow and ice, and therefor lots of salt in the roads to get rid of it. Sad When it got on the bottoms of my pants it sort of bleached it out a little bit. The problem is that when i put them in the wash to get the salt out, the salt must have gotten in the water and stained other parts of my pants because now i have splotches of a lighter blue all over my pants. acutally, it might be splotches of darker blue, I can't really tell, lol. ewww

if anyone has any ideas on how to get the stains out, or cover them/re-dye them(?) please let me know i would greatly appreciate it!!!!!

4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / ribbon flower (w/ tute and pics) :) on: July 22, 2004 02:36:50 PM
This is the tutorial for a flower similar to the $20 belt for less.  Smiley
Mine is made w/ crepe paper because i didnt have any ribbon the right width.

The finished flower:

Start w/ ribbon, it has to be pretty long, i didnt measure. You could make the flower as full or as small as u want so its up to you. Then begin scrunching it up into a small circle:

COntinue to do this, w/ the circles getting bigger and bigger and wrapping around eachother, like a spiral:

The finished flower:

to finish it you could tape up the bottom or handsew a few stitches through it. You could probably use a wired ribbon, pull the wire out of one side, and scrunch the other side up by pulling on the wire a bit. Attatch it to the belt w/e way you want! Sorry its not a very clear tutorial! I can do a finished one if anyone wants, but i havent yet. Hope its helpful.

5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Easy Patterns!!! :) on: July 20, 2004 11:08:31 PM
So I want to draw out patterns for a bag so i can make several and not have to complete the measurements each time, but what kind of paper would i need to use? most paper is not big enough to fit it. I was thinking of taping light paper together, or using tissue paper (the stuff u use to wrap gifts, not blow your nose  Wink) Any help would be greatly appreciated!!  Grin
