Wow mandalinn - all your yarns are gorgeous!

Here's mine for this week.  It's mill ends dyed with Wilton's.  I'm calling it Strawberry Lemonade.

2  Roving Dyed with Wilton's! in Dyeing: Completed Projects by sarahbird on: August 30, 2007 02:04:48 PM
I bought some more Wilton dyes recently, and I've been experimenting with using different concentrations to see what kinds of colors I can come up with.

First I dyed some merino roving, which is so incredibly soft!

Green and burgundy, which came out as a really pretty bright rose.

I meant for this one to come out a little more pastel-y, but I still like it.

And finally, here's my favorite!  Mill end roving, which I dyed by literally mixing up every color of dye I have and throwing them on randomly...er, artistically.  There are sooooo many colors in this one and I love it!

Lufah, that second yarn is amazing!  Those are such beautiful colors!

Here's mine for this week, it's mill ends dyed with Wilton's.  I'm thinking about calling it "Everlasting Gobstopper".

Miss Violaceous, I think that tencel looks really good!

And Star217, I love Woodland Sprite!  I think the skin colored Wilton's came out really nice.  I might have to pick some up next time I'm at the store...

Anyway, here's mine for the week.  It's about 92 yards of mill ends that I dyed with Wilton's before spinning, and then plied with yellow thread.

here's mine for this week.  it's mill ends that i dyed with wilton's, about 57 yards, nice and squishy.  and yes, it's on top of a fake plant.  i got a little too creative with my pictures this week.
