So I made a pillow for my sister the other day and my four year old was so upset that she couldn't sleep on it!  I promised her that I would make her one she could sleep on.  I have become incredibly addicted to embroidering lately.  So here it is ...

This is where unemployment gets you ... I had this in the works for a while and FINALLY found time to finish it.  I made it for my sister and her adorable little Chihuahua, Daisy.  It turned out much cuter than I thought it would be!

Hi there!

I must say first how everyone on here inspires me so!  I get such great ideas from everyone.  After making skirts from patterns and then remaking them to fit correctly, I decided to make my own pattern and try out a fitted skirt.  So here it is ...





I made it in this terrible leopard print fabric from Hancock's that was on sale.  I figured that I should try something cheap with this pattern before using a fabric I really like.  The fit is better than any pattern I've ever used.  The fabric is growing on me ... maybe I should embroider a sparrow or some flames next to one of the slits.
