1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Super Mario World Fire Flower Amigurumi on: July 08, 2014 07:55:05 AM
Made the boyfriend a fire flower from Super Mario World Cheesy I found a picture of the oval style amigurumi fire flower online and it made him ask for this. It's stuffed using polyfil, but I also cut cardboard from a soda box to reinforce the block that the flower stands on. I don't have a pattern, just made it up as I went along.

2  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 100 ENTRIES / One Hundred Button Turtle on: July 02, 2014 11:23:17 AM
So excited to introduce Craftster to Shelly, my one hundred button amigurumi turtle! Cheesy As I've recently moved to Florida and we have wild gopher turtles in our backyard, I felt the need to make this girl. Didn't use or write down a pattern for Shelly...I started crocheting little hexagons for a shell and she just kept getting bigger and bigger.

There are 100 buttons on her total:
2 for eyes
12 for toes (3 on each foot)
1 for her bow
85 on her back in hexagon patterns for the shell

She's a pretty large turtle (here's a chorkie for size comparison!)

Close-up detail of her buttons

Flipped her over to show off her belly, but helped her back up again after.
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / TARDIS Blanket and Pillow Case on: June 11, 2014 12:07:30 PM
I made this TARDIS blanket for my boyfriend and the pillowcase for my best friend. These were both Christmas gifts...I'm just a little late uploading the pictures. Tongue Enjoy!

The blanket is made out of all fleece and the pillowcase is a store-bought standard pillowcase with all fleece for the accents. All appliques were made and sewn by hand (I did machine stitch the white windows on the blanket for a textured look.) I added some 'in process' shots of the blanket so you can see the size a little better.

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Glider hat! on: June 20, 2012 12:15:06 PM
One of my favorite crochet projects so far was so very simple...a sugar glider hat!

Need I say more?  Cheesy I think he likes it!
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / So many earrings!! (Pic Heavy) on: June 20, 2012 12:11:56 PM
I haven't been on here in forever because I've been so busy...I usually keep to the knit/crochet section of the boards but I figured I'd show off some of my new handmade earrings! Cheesy

Yay! I'm loving every minute of making these.
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Very fuzzy 'get well' hedgehog! on: August 01, 2007 10:31:43 PM
My boyfriend was in a motorcycle accident two days ago. He's gonna be okay, but he's in pain and he doesn't have too much skin left on his hands. I feel terrible for him, and made him this stuffie...hopefully it'll help...  Undecided

((btw I'm putting eyes on her at work tonight...no hot glue gun here.))

Didn't write up a pattern, but I'll be making another hedgie soon and I'll write one this time if you guys would like.  Cheesy
7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Wally the Wal*Mart Bunny on: July 12, 2007 07:21:16 PM
I crocheted this little critter out of nothing but Wal*Mart bags...he's even stuffed with them. I have no idea what I'll end up doing with him, but he's quite unique.  Cheesy

My little Howie looks evil...but he's a sweetheart, I swear! *cuddle*
8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Tiger stuffie! (slightly image heavy) on: July 08, 2007 05:57:24 PM
Now that he's seen it...I can finally post it.

I made my boyfriend a stuffed tiger for his birthday, I followed a pattern but embroidered the stripes and face differently. I was really happy with how he turned out, and he loved this little guy.
